Tesla has announced that all of their latest car models now have full self-driving hardware.

Many of us have heard news of self-driving cars that will soon take over our roads in the future. That future has finally arrived as Tesla, a fast growing automobile industry has announced that their latest models now support the ability to be able to drive on its own.

Tesla’s older 2016 models did have some self driving capabilities, which only helped the driver drive their vehicle safely by using radars. The new Tesla models on the other hand are fully autonomous, meaning that they drive complete on their own without the need of the driver having to drive the car. The newer Tesla models now have fewer radar antennas and instead, a focus on cameras to take advantage of its new ‘Tesla Vision’ product, which allows the vehicle to fully operate on its own. Unfortunately, in order to get to fully autonomous driving, you are going to need to spend $8,000 on the system on top of the already pricey Tesla base car. Self-driving vehicles will play a crucial role in improving transportation safety and accelerating the world’s transition to a sustainable future.
